2nd Birthday

Samuel goes for a spin on his new Spider Man scooter - with Elmo helmet and pads, of course. "Look, Mom, I go too fast!!!"

When he received the helmet and pads, he was told that they would protect him form owies. Well, he thought that a great idea, so throughout the following week he absolutely insisted on wearing them everywhere we went (gas station, store, bank, restaurant, etc.). We got a lot of funny looks, but man was he one proud and happy kid!

Samuel loves to go hiking with his Mom and Dad. He enjoys walking on his own, but occasionally needs a break. Though, he's been known to say things like "Go that way." and "Go faster, Daddy!"...which leads us to believe that sometimes he just wants to cover more ground than his legs will allow.
